==Early life==
Maggie Chapman was born on April 23, 1997, in Clearwater, Florida, United States. The Florida native has always been inspired by pure melodies and lyrics, finding inspiration in classic literature from authors like Shakespeare, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Edgar Allan Poe. She began writing songs at the age of nine and began commuting to Nashville and New York at the age of 13 for meetings and co-writes. Chapman and her family relocated to Nashville in 2012 when she started working with Beth Laird, Co-Owner and General Manager at Creative Nation.
